Macabéa Thursday, October 29, 2026, 7:30PM

Be among the first to experience the Concert Premiere of Macabéa, a powerful new opera by Suzanne Farrin. Inspired by Clarice Lispector’s final novel, The Hour of the Star, the deeply moving work confronts the forces of poverty and power with striking emotional intensity. Performed by the Talea Ensemble, this special presentation offers an exclusive preview before the opera’s full premiere in Brazil in 2028.
