For the final Pop-Up of the season, experience the world premiere of three Miller-commissioned works for “Piano + 1” by composers Ann Cleare, Wang Lu, and Miguel Zenón. The pieces are the culmination of the third season of Miller’s much-praised reality podcast Mission: Commission which helps demystify the process of how classical music gets made. The free six-episode podcast series gives listeners access to each stage of the creative process as the composers write vibrant new works of music in six weeks.
