Columbia University School of the Arts William Schuman Award recognizes the lifetime achievement of an American composer. Carol Becker, Dean, honors composer Pauline Oliveros as the eighth recipient of the Award. Drawing on her experiences in improvisation, electronic music, ritual, teaching, and meditation, this marathon concert pays tribute to her pioneering work and breadth of vision and features an all-star lineup of performers.
