This performance is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, including one 15-minute intermission. THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY OCCURED IN A PREVIOUS SEASON! The Orlando Consort celebrates the achievements of Guillaume Dufay, arguably the greatest composer of the late Middle Ages. Born in France around the year 1400, his development of style changed the face of music in Western Europe. The program features movements from Dufay's magnificent Missa Sancti Jacobi, dedicated to St. James the Great, with glorious short motets by his contemporaries.
