Dance Ashley Bouder, Craig Hall, Sterling Hyltin, Maria Kowroski, Georgina Pazcoguin,; Tiler Peck, Ana Sophia Scheller, Sean Suozzi, Wendy Whelan,; and dancers from the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company Choreography by Tom Gold, Edwaard Liang, and Brian Reeder Music by Jefferson Friedman, Philip Glass, Arvo Pärt, and John Zorn Music performed by the Chiara String Quartet, Masada String Trio, and Marilyn Nonken, piano THIS EVENT HAS ALREADY OCCURED IN A PREVIOUS SEASON! A Co-presentation with Works and Process at the Guggenheim Miller Theatre and Works and Process at the Guggenheim reunite to present new commissions from three young and talented ballet choreographers, Tom Gold, Edwaard Liang, and Brian Reeder. These three artists are both gifted dancers (Gold and Liang are currently dancers with New York City Ballet and Reeder is a former dancer with American Ballet Theatre) as well as gifted choreographers. Made for a cast of exceptional and distinguished dancers, these works are sure to be both a display of excellence in form and an exploration of the future of ballet choreography.
