Bring a friend, grab a drink, and join some of today’s most interesting performers onstage at Miller Theatre on select evenings.
With this diverse program of complex works, the Mivos Quartet lives up to its reputation as “a fearless, precise, and forward-looking new music group” (Chicago Reader). Miller welcomes back the boundary-pushing ensemble to close the 2016-17 season, with a concert featuring music by three diverse compositional voices, highlighted by the U.S. premiere of a new quartet by George Lewis.
All concerts start at 6 p.m. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Major support for Pop-Up Concerts is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Dow Jones Foundation.
