Bring a friend, grab a drink, and join some of today’s most interesting performers onstage at Miller Theatre on select Tuesday evenings.
Marilyn Nonken has been heralded as a “determined protector of important music” (The New York Times) and recognized as “one of the great interpreters of new music” (American Record Guide). Continuing this legacy, she returns to Miller Theatre with works written specifically for her by two leading composers, Liza Lim and Elizabeth Hoffman. Lim’s four-movement piano cycle was inspired by Cy Twombly’s “Quattro Stagioni” on view at the Museum of Modern Art.
All concerts start at 6 p.m. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis, and doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Major support for Pop-Up Concerts is provided by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Dow Jones Foundation.
