For the spring 2016 season, Columbia Ballet Collaborative welcomes Maurice Brandon Curry, choreographer, director, and advisory board member for the Repertory Dance Theatre; Amy Hall Garner, one of the first recipients of the Joffrey Ballet’s Choreography of Color Award; Daniel Mantei, dancer with American Ballet Theatre; Brian Reeder, choreographer who has created works for American Ballet Theatre, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and the Guggenheim Museum’s Works & Process; and Connor Yockus, Columbia University student pursuing a B.A. in Dance and Business. Additionally, CBC is proud to present George Balanchine’s Valse Fantaisie, staged by Robert LaFosse, former dancer with American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet.
Founded in 2007 by five professional ballet dancers enrolled at Columbia University, CBC is comprised of students from all of the University’s undergraduate colleges and affiliates.
