|Tickets for the March 27 Japan Benefit Concert at Miller Theatre went on sale on Wednesday afternoon, March 16, and sold out the same day around 11pm.
Other benefit events are being planned around New York City, and we’ll be publishing that information on our web site as it becomes available. Two other concerts organized by John Zorn have already been announced.
The Abrons Arts Center will host back-to-back sets on April 8 at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Featured artists include Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore; singer-songwriter Norah Jones; and many others. Tickets are now on sale. Click here for more information.
The Japan Society will hold a daylong benefit Concert for Japan on April 9, including gala performances at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Featured performers include Philip Glass, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, and Ryuichi Sakamoto. Tickets will go on sale soon. Click here for more information.
