The American premiere at Miller pairs this brilliant but little-known score with beautiful new choreography by Luca Veggetti. ICE returns as house band, following their “sizzling account” of Saariaho’s music in last year’s Composer Portrait (The New York Times).
Maa is performed without intermission and lasts approximately 70 minutes. Additional performances: Wednesday, September 22, 8 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 8 p.m. |
